TATTOO AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS
Proper aftercare is essential to help your tattoo heal properly and maintain its appearance.
PLASTIC WRAP
Keep the bandage on for at least 1 hour and no longer than 12 hours.
Once removed, gently wash the tattoo with clean hands and lukewarm water. Do not scrub or use a washcloth.
Pat the tattoo dry with a clean, soft towel or paper towel. Do not rub.
Let the tattoo breathe and keep it clean and dry.
After around 3–5 days, the tattoo may begin to peel and flake like a sunburn. This is a normal part of the healing process.
Do not pick, scratch, or peel the skin. Let it shed naturally. If small pieces come off while washing, this is simply dead skin — your tattoo is not coming out.
Once peeling begins, apply a very thin layer of A+D ointment or your recommended tattoo moisturizer, preferably after showering.
Apply 3–4 times a day for 10–14 days, or until the tattoo has finished peeling.

Allow the piercing to air dry or gently pat dry with clean, disposable gauze.
Do not twist, rotate, move, or play with the jewelry.
Avoid pressure and do not sleep directly on the piercing.
Do not apply creams, ointments, alcohol, or other harsh products.
Do not remove or change the jewelry yourself while it is healing. See a professional piercer for cleaning, assessment, or downsizing.
